It happened the same in mar 3 and now i m playing in E 5, you get 20 of power y you have a crystal...... What for if it s impossible to defend it?? more or less you have 60 soldoers/vehicles and the first structures completed.. You ll lose surely your crystal and your units (of course)

I need a good alliance in Mars3, in e5 although we are not much allieds at least is more active

Its best to wait until you are in a good alliance that can defend you before getting 20 power

that way you stand a higher chance of keeping it

Alliance is one thing , Army is 2nd. Dont get power to 20 before u have ranged vehicles - that if you have no alliance . it means u will last for some time with the crystal . But alliance always helps .

I believe that the smartest strategy is to create your colony near pretty strong alliance and ask to join as soon as posible ( Not to strong because they probably wont invite you) Then you are in alliance, you can trade your Pretection to resources. That's what i did and it worked very well.

or u can just build up and they will keep u cuz ur good
