How do I get to where I can build gates? I thought I read that I needed to get to level 5 on one of the structures items. I have done that yet I don't see where I pick gate as an upgrade option.

it's number 5 in workshop, then you klick a op then klick the lightning mark ;)

Even after having the structures built to be able to build gates it doesn't mean you will have the option straight away to be able to build gates unless you have the resources to build it.

Gates costs - 750 Metal & 250 Oil (Additional Resources)
