Please carefully read the thread, we covered that misunderstand... :roll:.

As Kane said we cannot have both go the same time, it wouldn't make sense to have say 6000 ticks for double tick and 3000 for single tick so they both end after just after 4 months, the double tick worlds would get VERY stale after 6000 ticks.

We've thought carefully about these new times and feel that they better represent a "full" round for double and single tick worlds. ALL worlds on the new client now have these new end times set, NO exceptions regardless if the worlds are approaching the halfway mark or not, ALL Earth, Mars and Fantasy worlds are set to this new end time already and all new worlds opening will have these new round end times.

haha i just pictured like the end of a 6000 tick doube speed world....

an alliance has all 10 relics at tick 5500 and theyre all sitting around bored out of their mind saying "what do we do now?"

If double tick worlds end at tick 500 i think that 1 tick worlds should end at tick 2500 instead of 3500 because sometimes i hear people wanning to do that and i want to too
No blue or red colours please, those are reserved for staff purposes.

When is the old client going to end?? Earth 1 has been on like 600 ticks in havoc and Mars 5 has been in havoc for like 300 ticks. When is going to end???? Also Admin on Mars 5 talked about doing another old Mars 5 what about Earth 1 and when will it restart if it does??? I need anwsers.

Just my 2 cents.

In the old client our servers ended in 3000 and 4000 ticks each (normal and doble) due to the fact that many players get bored by half the round. Most times this was because they lack competition or the world entered a neutral state or because they don't really care any more about it and started a new world with "better" opportunities (or the same opportunities) to rush it.

Now, I understand the fact that the BD population has increased since we got to the new client but I can also see we've falled again into the same problem we had back then. We have too many servers AND an alliance cap of 24 (atm) which really makes rounds to be owned faster or worse than usual.

Many servers = less players per server. I haven't seen 2+ servers on their FULL capacity since the Fantasy servers opened. Eventually I haven't seen any server getting 2000+ players in this moment (I'm checking the actual pop of every server right now). Therefore we have less competitive alliances per server which means less competition and more boredom.

More time=less interest=less players wanting to play=less competition. I beleive this explainst itself.

Anyway, and to make this fast. My proposal, relative to the topic, is: return the and times back to the old system, 3000 ticks single tick servers and 4000 double tick servers. That way we reduce 500 hours of possible boredom and "force" alliances to rush and compete more to obtain a good spot in the rankings.
