So, who do you think will win the gold, silver, and bronze metal? I am hoping South Korea wins the gold metal since they have defeated Great Britain.

Yes the olympic teams are different compared to the National team but it is still fun to watch young players playing. And you can see 3 players who's age are 24 and over from the National team playing with the Olympic team. These 3 players are called Wildcards. I know for a fact that the Olympic games are for age 23 and under + 3 wild cards.
For exampe, these players are some of the Wildcards for their nation:
-Great Britain: Bellamy, Ryan Gigges, and ?
-Brazil: Thiago Silva, ?, and ?
-Uruguay: Suarez, Cavani, and ?
Yah I think you will get the difference between Olympic teams and the National teams.

I actually think Japan has a good bet at winning. But then again I haven't watched many Olympic matches...

True. They have showed a fantastic performance until now. But it will be hard for them to beat Mexico and Korea/Brazil.
