Not every torso is made to be able to support every type of mech.

The reason for 90 energy is the fact that heat mechs, (arguably the best type in the game) are handed fairly easily with it's massive heat stat (the best in the game).

If it's energy capacity where to risen, so would it's weight, which is calculated last through a formula in which all other stats are pulled into.

I dissagree with you when you say that lavascope only has potential as a physical - though that deffinately is it's strong suit.

since they ahev removed the energy requirement from the rocket drone and many rocket weapoins had none to begin with you could make quite a nice rocket mech with the lavascope considering a rocket mech would have to worry quite a bit more about his heat capacity than its energy.

I think if we were to buff the lavascope the best way would to be either to give it some built in electric resistance or extra bullet capacity
