On Saturday, Dec. 12 it was anticipated: http://battledawn.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=62258#p62258Today, that very same Prr soldier has left us. As so many have, it seems, proving, the louder they are, the more timidly they depart. As MupT and Prr (now LAWL) face off in South America, the kittens have found themselves worn down. Foolish moves finding individuals picked off one, by one, by one. A 10-hour nuke hits home, killing 260 units. Well done. Prr responds by sending their units probing. Our incredibly well spoken and polished Dukey gets devastated, drops the Prr brand and quits. Toot, who's floated around aimless during all the other combat, finally sends his tank-centric army to their death fighting an army that had no tanks. Well done. Surprisingly, the only clean, repetitive, skillful move witnessed in this round by Prr has been Nir-Kitty's patented U-turn. Oh, he'll tell us he doesn't care for this round. As he's written he never wanted to play. Yet, turn around he does. Whatever the outcome is for others, you can be certain Nir-kitty won't get hurt. Well done. Prr's alliance, thrust together in desperation, yet crowed about here, weakens daily through amazing losses and dawning of Prr deception and inability to make cohesive, decisive moves. In the face of defeat, Prr rises up and quits. Well done. At least you will always know, we beat very average players. The world won't forget that.

I used to think Oluvai was funny, not sure what I was thinking.
Seems as this guy was picked on a lot IRL and now has years of angst and pent up aggression he needs to get out via trolling and a video game that is designed to be fun. Fair enough, we all have our vices.
To be quite honest, you are nothing special piggy. You have a giant wallet and are surrounded by the best team I've come up against in my short career as a BD player.
I'd love to see you play without Kane, Creel, G, etc or hell, even against them. I'm sure that would put your planet sized ego in check.

I've played E2 where I finished first overall in the No. 1 alliance. I've played F3, where I finished third overall in the No. 1 alliance. Now, in my first era with Kane, Creel and the others, I'll finish in the No. 1 alliance, and somewhere in the Top number of players. That said, you are entirely correct. The players I'm now playing with are THE finest BD players I've encountered or could imagine playing with. They are quick, intelligent, equitable and highly skilled. They surpass, in all ways, all others I've had the opportunity to play with and are, absolutely, far superior to me in this game. It's been a pleasure to be part of their team as they are quite good and substantially superior to me. I say this because it's important to appreciate it CAN be said and not be a slight against yourself to acknowledge better players. Prr's fundamental problem is an inability to, themselves, recognize everything I've said about these guys is true not only in my case, but each of their own. Prr's fundamental problem leads to their most annoying, though secondary, issue. Having spent vast sums here, they are convinced the advantage by those they fight is solely that they have somehow spent more. While their colonies glow gold and their frames have bling, it's someone else who's outspent. They do not do the internal math that they have repeatedly gotten killed and our side has taken spread, shared losses, our numbers rise while they continue to take bumps. This happens because we keep isolating chunks to kill with almost no loss. Not because we're spending. The majority of the puppets pay nothing. They just work hard and together. Janice has like 100 conquers. Maybe more . As I've said on this very board, the ability for those who have funds to spend their way to the top creates a game which is, at root, unfair to those with less money, and that imbalance is a key reason I will not be in another era as I disagree with the model, even as I've openly stated I AM a mass donator. But, the Muppets have taught me this round, spending, while a huge advantage, remains the second reason for success in this game behind activity, communication and team work. The issue, though, isn't in me. It's in the ego of Prr members who will never quite get themselves to admit Kane, Creel, G and others are just BETTER than they are. I know it. So, I'm already better for it.

It just feels strange to me that some people bother to keep filling this forum with insults. Seriously, both sides of these arguments have already lost all my respect. Not for losing some units, or maybe mass donating to get them back, but because of all these ridiculous insults based on them that you throw around.

You stopped over two weeks ago? Interesting that you kept playing and are still posting here.
Gaurav does more for MupT than you do for anyone you've played for.

I wish G would goto sleep sometimes, would be much easier to take your OPs.
@ Piggy, I'm not saying money is the only reason you are doing well. And the 2 rounds you have listed that you won are both, by admission of people in your alliance, fail rounds (double tick). I wouldn't judge your skills based on that, sorry.
You assume to know a lot about the way we think and act, most of which is just a gross exaggeration or flat out wrong. Yes you guys are winning, but don't sit there as if you have some sort of superior insight into the way our minds work, because you don't and it makes you look like a fool.
My previous post did not imply that I'm admitting that the MupT players are better then Prr players, it was merely to reinforce the fact that you would be nothing but a second rate double tick troll without them. Overall, MupT has a better team put together and they work better together then us, but in my honest opinion...our core group of players are just as good as yours (and better than you)
I'm sorry to see you go, it would be nice playing against you sometime in the future without the usual suspects that have mostly stuck together from E1A1, E1A2 and onto this round. It would be delightful to beat you down into submission and not have to put up with your mindless babble that usually implies you are in someway responsible for your teams dominance (when you really arent).

Redwurm,
I fully agree the double tick rounds are not the same as the single tick rounds and feel the single tick rounds do require more pure strategy and thought given the length of time between moves. The single tick really appealed to me when I was asked to join MupT and it is a better game for me. Though, surprisingly, it seems to move faster than the double click from my two era experience prior.
I know why I did well there. I've stated it here. I was a mass donator. On F3, I literally went 2000 ticks without doing ANYTHING but boosting and building an army. That's why I decided to stop playing here. I'd risen to No. 3 in the ranks and it required 0 skill. It really turned me off of the game, but was valuable to me in some individual projects I have.
This round has altered my impression, as did some of the end of E2. Fortunately I do not believe I'm that good a Battle Dawner. In MupT I'm a pure follower, going where instructed and the instructions are so good it makes those moves successful. But, that's not my doing. I've never hinted to have any role in the success of MupT beyond being available to act as ordered. I'm reasonably certain a majority of people in the era are superior Battle Dawn players than I am. I just don't believe we've witnessed that of anyone in Prr to this point.
As for knowing a lot about you guys, I know a ton. I know who in your alliance is abusive to other members. I've talked to your allies about your level of coordination and attention. I've gotten inside information as to your coordination and communication from your members.
I even know exactly what rationale and phrasing was used to initially put forward the alliance group you initially had. You'd be mistaken to believe I don't know quite a lot about what goes on inside Prr. It is the fact you still do not realize you are the biggest group of overrated players I've encountered on Battle Dawn, and I played an era against XXIV, so that's saying something.
You guys are inattentive, slow, uncoordinated and don't communicate. I KNOW I'm not very good. A pity the majority of Prr believes they are elite in spite of substantial evidence to the contrary.
