how can I be an admin I never know when you ask an admin he or she always said u cant be an admin just from asking or we don't need more admins so I think there is a way to request but nobody tells normal players most of the admins don't even have one achievement I know how you guys feel when get this reply no

To become an admin you have to wait to be either approached by BD or apply when BD is looking for a new admin.

And as for the achievements part and admin colony doesn't play the era so technically can not gain any achievements however when admins used to play BD they were good players.

It is very rare to become admin though. You must be able to communicate well with players, have an almost absolute knowledge of the game, and the community knowing who you are and trusting you would be very beneficial. Of course there are many more things and there is no absolute way to become admin but those are a good place to start. Oh and one last thing, I'd say wanting to be admin for the sake of being admin would be a negative thing. The root of it should be the love of the game and wanting to be able to help grow and improve it.

For Korput he's able to communicate well with some players, has an almost absolute knowledge of the game and a fair number of people in the community know him, though haven't ever watched him play. Korupt also programs and has studied gaming marketing or something along though lines.

But really, when we say that you can't become an admin just by asking, and that we don't need any more admins at the time, it's because it's the truth.

I will tell you though that most admins are people who help around in the community, then work their way up to admin.

As for 0 achievements, it's simply because these aren't player accounts. All admins have been around in the game for several years and know how the game works more than most.

If everyone who asked to be an admin became one we would have so many and it would ruin the job of an admin for we would have more then the amount of worlds.

My estimate is that 90% of players who stay longer than a month want to becomme admins.

Korupt I wanted to say the same thing , like to be an admin u should some qualities like
1) u should know all the mechanics of the game
2)u should be a popular & dominant identity on forums
3)as u guys mentioned he should be able to communicate & understand others
4)u should have contributed something to BD community which makes him a bit different from others
5) he should be 21+ years of age]
6) if I'm not wrong first u have to be jr mod for around 2 years (might be lucky to get promoted if ur next position holder too gets promoted or he resings which usually doesn't happened)
after jr mod then u become sr mod then again u have to wait

I don't know if I have missed out something ,please correct if I'm wrong somewhere , ik u guys know better then me abt this matter but it is for the thread owner
& yea Korupt to get all the above criteria u atleast need 4 yrs of presence u can't be tat lucky to be a admin just after 2 yrs of work , now I don't know how much time u took
