HDMI cables have different ends right? compared to OTG?

Bro , it's cheaper to get Chromebook , since bd doesn't require a powerful laptop to play and it's really cheap. But since you want to get the Led and mobile for further use after your original laptop is fixed , it's worth getting.

Correct. OTG is, I believe, USB.

There's android devices with HDMI Output - but from what you're saying it sounds safe to assume you didn't get one of those.

How did the guy you're copying connect to the screen?

I believe there's USB-HDMI converters - not sure how (and if) they work. There's also Chromecast which may do the trick.

I'm actually pretty interested, never considered trying to use Android as a PC before.

Alex , this is not so simple as we were thinking.

The most of the phones in the market currently dont have a separate port of HDMI , but my old Sony Xperia has a separate port of HDMI , but since it is old it doesnt support OTG . The phones is the market today have OTG but not HDMI.

The video you are talking was abt guiding how to connect ps3 controller to mob , though he also connected his LED to his mobile , but he didnt give a tutorial or demonstration for that.
I saw another video on youtube , which was put up by Sony , where they were guiding how to connect xperia devices to bravia , problem is we have bravia but not xperia. ( im not buying sony phone )

So now our main problem is how do we connect mobile to LED.
