2 questions; Why be redundant? And; Why play BD?
1.) Why be redundant?
Why spend your time on the computer playing BD? I play for fun and because I enjoy strategy games. But when I see comments of mine, in game, that were made as a joke, things like, "Good luck", and, "do your best", and then when those things are responded to negatively, I wonder what rules I break when I tell that person to "(Want to be allies? Sometimes I like to pretend I am a princess riding a pony..)" before I add them to my ignore list.
When the *** admin of NewE4 isn't too busy being an (Want to be allies? Sometimes I like to pretend I am a princess riding a pony..) belittling noobs over broadcast, he gets his kicks by being a judgmental (Want to be allies? Sometimes I like to pretend I am a princess riding a pony..) sticking his nose where it doesn't belong. Why be redundant? Why show favoritism? Why take a side over something so stupid at all?
And; 2.) Why play BD?
Why do I play BD? That's an easy question. I play to enjoy myself, spend my free time. But that situation I just got done describing, it was entirely uncalled for. It was all instigated by me saying nice things to this ***, who then snapped back at me by talking (Want to be allies? Sometimes I like to pretend I am a princess riding a pony..) for no reason at all. So then I get punished for it?
And what good are agreements if only to be violated?
And What is the purpose of being conquered at all? It has nothing to do with relics. It has nothing to do with much of anything really, it's like being King'd in checkers, it's great but it's totally meaningless to the success of the game and how it is played. Maybe this 3rd situation wouldn't seem like such a big deal if the idiot admin of NewE4 wasn't such a child and didn't tick me off all the time by saying whatever he feels like on broadcast and being a troll in PM in-game.
Why accept an agreement stating, "We will not attack", then wait 50 ticks and then attack just 1 tick before relocation is allowed?
The point I am trying to make here is that nothing is left here in BattleDawn except trolling.
The admins, the players and the game itself ... it's all about trolling, it's all about talking (Want to be allies? Sometimes I like to pretend I am a princess riding a pony..).
Why did I return to this? Good question. I will remedy that problem immediately.
I quit.
Was this what you expected when you decided to be an *******, Mr. *** Admin of NewE4?

first of all, you are being kind of judgmental when you call him the jew admin..
second, not sure what broadcasts you are talking about?

wow a bit hostile... derogatory... racist as well maybe?.. who can pick anything else out that? - Redundant? What is redundant in making a joke and having a negative response? Are you saying this has happened a couple of times?
Then again why would someone respond in a negitive way to "Good luck" and "do your best". Only if something preceded your comments that would make them think your comment was sarcastic or negitive as well.
What's with the Jew comments, are you racist? If he is a Jew, there is nothing about him being one, that has anything to do with the game. Does being black, or mexican, or christian have anything to do with the game? No!
And lastly, the admin's nose belongs everywhere related to BD.
- Well, it was either a misunderstanding or a very good reason for him to snap at you.
Agreements and conquers has everything to do with relics. With conquers you would get more resources to build up your army and structures faster and sooner than someone with no conquers. In turn making you stronger to capture the relic and hold on to it.
This IS a war game, if you choose to agree with someone you don't know/trust then that is your fault. Putting out "fake" offers/deals is part of the game along with disloyalty, distrust, betrayal, deceiptions. Although these practices are frowned upon they are still war tatics; they all mislead the enemy... again allowing you to capture and to hold the relic. And yes some elements of the game is talking BS. It has worked and will always work for those who weight words more than actions.
The only broadcast I saw are the ones saying not to broadcast about boost, problems founds, problems fixed, and tips submitted by players. In either case.... good bye! Enjoy your gaming wherever that may be.
