Just wondering, Say I had in my colony squads belonging to someone in vacation. Will they fight if my colony is attacked?

You can only be attacked in the first 12 ticks after you go on vacation but yes, they will fight for you.

Also, if you start to go on vacation and someone launches an attack the attack will get to you NO MATTER WHAT.
So even if you have been on vacation for 11 ticks and someone launches a squad ETA 20 it will get to you.

You didn't answer his question, he's not asking about the colony in vacation being attacked, he's asking if Colony A has units in Colony B and then Colony A goes into vacation, will Colony B still be protected.

The answer is yes, but the downside is Colony A cannot dodge nukes, or spies, etc. The units will fight though.
