I was watching some youtube videos on BestOf's and Fluffball's channels (and some others ones, I forgot) and I noticed two things...

One is that the gamestate was much slower.Weapons did less damage and heat and what not so it makes sense. I'll get to that later.
Now this allowed for more skill which I LOVED. I'm really sad that that's been thrown out the window.
The other thing I noticed was that there was a huge variety of builds... lots of very interesting ones. What I really liked was how many mythicals were USABLE. Now 90% of mythicals are rubbish. Absolute rubbish, unusable (in tier 1 - 3 meta builds). This is because newer weapons do more damage, heat and electric damage. There is a huge cutoff line now. The older mythicals are now just useless. From a financial perspective this is good, but it ruins the game... which is bad.

Adding to this idea of new op weapons doing more damage, you now need more health. Making a torso with a bunch of HP is NOT the answer to that. Yes from a money-making perspective it's good. Everyone wants it. But not everyone can get it. Which ruins the game.
Now you need more cooling. Making modules that are hard to get and you need 10 of is good for making money. Most people cant get as many as they need so it ruins the game. Some people cant even get one or two. Games that force people to spend are generally bad.
What I'd love to see is more skill based mechanics or just slowing down the game state to promote more skillful plays. The other thing is that most mythicals are about as useful as JackTownley. Imagine 90% of the users on this forum were a JackTownley. That is what the mythical vault looks like. Many mythicals are in need of buffs and nerfs. I understand the devs are busy and what not but these two things need to be fixed ASAP.

In the past this game was slower and more balanced and it got by, no? Can't we just go back to that?? Why are things different now? Are you guys making a significantly higher amount of money from how things are now? Even then... it just isn't a good enough excuse to significantly decrease the quality of the game. So much progress has been made, but this is the one and only thing that's gone backward. I'm afraid that many people will lose interest at this rate, money isn't the issue for me. I'm not going to stop playing because I cant spend enough to keep up with it. I'm going to stop because it's boring and blatantly stupid.

I wouldn't even mind all the bugs and technical flaws if the game was how it was back then. The game was good then. Right now... it's not as good... unless you're a spender this game sucks. And even as a spender, the meta is very very VERY repetitive and boring. There are very few viable builds for winning. Any attempt to mix things up results in being destroyed by superior meta items/builds. Only when there is balance can u be lenient with what items u run. So even for spenders the game is stagnating.

I'm sure more players will stay and come back and overall the playerbase would be so much happier if there was 1) balance and 2) slower game states.
Yes I'm aware that if more mythicals items are good/playable spenders wont spend as much. But at least the game is enjoyable ok?

P.s. Remove the pads.

well the game was quite good in 2014 but now lots of changes to attract player but it reverse now most of the players are distracted lol.
