It's not a glitch.

It's what happens when the game wants your turn to initiate but you've either disconnected or lagged for a short while, meaning the game on your end and server side needs time to revaluate what has happened.

Nothing you can really do about it except not go on other sites, which suck up you bandwidth and ultimately cut away the connection on your supermechs tab.
