Well i bet no one will remember me, but i can honestly say that the break i took, to come here and check how things were going on, i'm absolutely surprised in a positive way.

I've always knew that this game and community would have great success, and that the few years i dedicated to it wouldn't let my expectations down.

Spam was always great, some people just abused of it. But the Administrators in that time decided and well to apply some rules, and good old fashioned control.

Spam never gave that much work, just like in most forums, some misbehaved users gave a little more work, and spam did took the risk of not being present in these new forums, but at that time, i had the power and responsibility to ensure that the spam section and some others, could be efficient socially and orderly.

That's why my "nickname" was Peter the Banhammer.

I still think that a spam section is pretty important for social and good fun purposes, and most of all keeping some of it from more important sub forums.

I miss the good old days, but i'm really surprised in a positive way with the prosperity of this game. All due to the hard work of a great team, i once had the pleasure and fun to be part.

Actually... I'll be brutally honest here... stick around spam and I don't think you'll like it. Nowadays spam is basically filling every thread with random crap nobody cares about. And they do it to everything. Miscellaneous threads, community suggestions, you name it. I try not to make threads in spam so they aren't spammed but it doesn't make a difference.

Trying to be modest enough, in my days, things could not go perfectly smooth, but i managed to keep it clean and alive.

Back then we had some troublemakers, but we also managed to get some respect from them by respecting them, and sometimes we managed to correct some behaviors, other times the bad seed had just to be judged in a fast way and banned.

If i recall i was mean, but fair, even if i had the "power" and tools to dictate.

It's a matter of good sense, and trying to sell it to those that have none or few.

The off game sections of the forum gave players a second motive to play, or hang around. I made good friends, learned so many things with staff members and users.

The game is the core of a community, but the forums...the forums make the bond with it.
